Monitor 360°
Capture base and stripe colour all around the entire product.
Continuously verify base colour, stripe colour and stripe width – objectively, all around and directly during extrusion.

The SK-410-C compares the current colour with a taught target value during production. For striped cables, stripe colour and stripe width are additionally monitored – for reproducible product quality in every production run.
Capture base and stripe colour all around the entire product.
Objectively evaluate deviations from the taught target colour value.
Control presence and required width of up to two stripes.
Detect differently coloured contamination early in the process.
Colour value-time charts for process analysis and masterbatch optimisation.
Report colour deviations before they lead to larger scrap quantities.

Multiple optical viewing directions capture the product completely. Climate-controlled cabinet, large screen and signal lamp complement the sensor head to form a robust inline system.
Live image, ΔE values and time trend show immediately when colour is stable, changing or deviating from target.

Accept approved product as objective reference value.
Continuously capture base colour, stripe colour and stripe proportion.
Confirm new colour stable early and reduce start-up material.
Use colour value trends as basis for masterbatch and process optimisation.

Complement color inspection with 360° surface inspection or automatic print verification.
In practice, this task is referred to as color control, color inspection, colour verification, inline color control or colour monitoring. The SK-410-C checks base colour, stripe colour, stripe width and foreign colour tones during running extrusion.
Both terms describe the automatic inspection of colour properties. Color inspection objectively evaluates target colour, actual colour, stripes and deviations in the running process.
Detected are deviations in base colour, incorrect stripe colours, changed stripe widths, foreign colour tones and differently coloured contamination.
Typical applications are cables, cores, striped conductors and other extrusion products where colour must be documented reliably and kept stable.
